The African American Heritage Family Tree Museum
Established in 1991, the African American Heritage Family Tree Museum has been actively involved with the collection, exhibition and preservation of West Virginia’s African American culture and history. On display at the museum’s headquarters in Ansted and in their collections at the Norton House in Malden, West Virginia and the Ansted Cultural & Heritage Museum in downtown Ansted are two and three dimensional artifacts depicting West Virginia’s rich African American culture and history.
